On the Morning Upgrade Podcast, I have casual conversations with entrepreneurs about personal development, their businesses, and their morning routines. Here is a morning routine round-up of podcast guests from episodes 21 to 30.

21. Karl Staib

Karl spoke about his evening routine on podcast episode 21. Every night he spends about fifteen minutes going through the SOAR system (Simplify, Observe, Appreciate, Reflect). Doing this helps put him in a beneficial state of mind before going to bed. He discusses each of these steps in the episode.

22. Paul Matthews

Paul told us about his morning routine on podcast episode 22. He doesn’t have a big morning routine. He will spend some time working out and eating a good breakfast, but other than that he just likes to keep his mornings simple.

23. Anna Masker

Anna talked about her morning routine on podcast episode 23. Most days of the week she starts her day off by waking up early and going rowing. She will be up around 5:00 a.m. and will head out to the lake to go rowing with her team. On days she isn’t rowing she will wake up at 8:15 a.m. Some days she will meet with a personal trainer early in the morning. If she doesn’t have rowing or a meeting then she will walk around her lake, and do a workout.

24. Dr. Steven Cangiano

Dr. Cangiano spoke about his morning routine on podcast episode 24. He goes to bed at 10:00 p.m. so he can wake up naturally at 6:00 a.m. He does a workout, and he avoids using devices at least till he’s done with his workout.

25. Rana Shahbaz

Rana told me about his morning routine on podcast episode 25. He reviews his overarching goals, then creates a list of tasks for the day. If he completes at least a few of them he feels satisfied with his day. He also tries to avoid using his phone and computer until 1:00 p.m.

26. Joel Hawbaker

Joel talked about his morning routine on podcast episode 26. He wakes up at 5:00 a.m. and reads the Bible and some devotionals. He eats a good, healthy breakfast. He does a short workout, but most of his fitness comes from maintaining his farm.

27. Rob Temple

Rob spoke about his morning routine on podcast episode 27. His morning routine starts the night before. He prepares everything he can before he goes to bed in order to make his mornings easier. He goes to the gym early in the morning, has a shower, eats breakfast, and is ready for his day by 8:30 a.m.

28. Tom Schwab

Tom told us about his morning routine on podcast episode 28. He wakes up at 5:00 a.m., has a cup of coffee, then he goes for a walk. He likes to listen to a book, pray, and reflect while on his walk. He starts work by around 6:00 a.m.

29. Genie Weisz

Genie talked about her morning routine on podcast episode 29. She wakes up at 6:00a.m. Genie spends 10 minutes meditating, rides her Peloton, then does some journaling. She then creates a list of tasks that need to be done.

30. Hans Struzyna

Hans spoke with me on podcast episode 30. We didn’t end up speaking about his morning routine, but he did have some interesting things to say about mentorship; another thing I’m passionate about. You have to find a person who has the experience and who you connect with easily. Then you have to absorb and apply everything that person teaches you. Doing this will help fast-track your path to success.
