On the Morning Upgrade Podcast, I have casual conversations with entrepreneurs about personal development, their businesses, and their morning routines. Here is a morning routine round-up of my first 10 podcast guests.

1. Keelie Reason

Keelie shared her morning routine with me on podcast episode #1. She talked about how she deals with insomnia and wakes up in the early hours of the morning. During that time, she spends time reading devotionals, the Bible, and other resources that focus on spiritual and relational improvement.

2. Adam Lean

Adam told me about his morning routine on podcast episode #2. He’s a morning person and likes waking up very early every day…no later than 6:30. The first thing he does is make a cup of coffee and tries to read for at least 45 minutes.

3. Greg Lewis

Greg spoke about his morning routine on podcast episode #3. He’s a morning person that loves to wake up as soon as the sun rises. Greg is an outdoorsy person and enjoys sitting on his patio to watch the sunrise. With a cup of coffee in hand, he watches the birds eat out of his feeders while he reads.

4. Bryan McFarland

Bryan told me about his mornings on podcast episode #4. He has a very strict morning routine that he’s adapted for the past 8 years. His mornings start with what he calls MAIVE…meditation, affirmations, intentions, visualization, and energization.

5. Paul Edwards

Paul talked with me about his morning routine on podcast episode #5. He’s a very early riser and usually gets up around 4:30 am! Before starting his day, he aims to read for an hour and a half or two. Paul reads a variety of scripture passages and devotionals. Afterwards, he journals and clears his mind so he can face the day.

6. Tim Schmidt

Tim shared his morning routine on podcast episode #6. The first thing he does every morning is to make sure to make his bed. He said that this habit helps put him in the right frame of mind to get things done.

7. Jeremy Streten

Jeremy told me about his morning routine in podcast episode #7. He starts his day off with a glass of water and some reading. Spending time with his family is important, so he is happy to get up before them in order to knock out a task or two ahead of time. Then, he has the ability to spend time with his kids(guilt-free).

8. Seline Shenoy

Seline spoke about her morning routine on podcast episode #8. She likes waking up early and starting her day off with an hour of exercise. After her workout, she makes sure to eat a healthy breakfast to help her with recovery.

9. Ray Pawlyk

Ray talked about his morning routine on podcast episode #9. He starts his morning off writing down everything he has to do for the rest of the day so he knows exactly what needs to be accomplished. Then, he spends time working out and thinking about his to-do list. Before tackling his tasks, he knocks out all of his emails and responds to them so he can focus on his day.

10. Nicolette Cote

Nicolette is my daughter. I loved talking to her about her morning routine on podcast episode #10. Every morning (even if she doesn’t have plans for the day) she changes out of her pajamas. She says that it helps her get in the right frame of mind to tackle the day.
